Assessment
You will assessed on the
rubric and the 8-10 minute time limit. Times under and over by a
minute will be assessed a penalty of 10%. Here are
some suggestions to guide you in your research. Any or all of this
may be included in your presentation.
- Research different biomes on Earth that support life- Antarctica,
desserts, mountains, ocean vents, etc.
- Determine the requirements for life - atmosphere, energy source,
reproduction, etc.
- Use the above to establish positive and negative limits of life for
your search.
- With the selected criteria research the object of your choice.
- Determine if life could be possible, likely, unlikely, or
prohibited.
- Prepare a presentation to support your conclusion.
- Include facts to support your conclusion.
