We will use the following rubrics to assess our students on their projects.

Powerpoint Rubric

ITEM	Exceeds Standard (2 points)	Meets Standard (1 point)	Below Standard (0 points)
Names of all Team Members
Clearly stated driving questions
Interesting information that answers the driving question
Correct use of grammar, punctuation, and capitalization
Use of 3 pictures
Minimum of 5 slides
Use of 1 graph/statistics
Use of same background color on all slides

Letter to the Editor/Business Letter Rubric

We will use the ISTEP Writing 6/4 Rubric to assess the letter to the editor/business letter. There will be a separate grade for following the business letter format.

Population Display

We will use the Population Dispay Rubric to assess this project.
