Harshman is located on the near eastside of Indianapolis.  The area is unkempt, although there has been some focus on revitalization.  We are going to focus on three major problems to solve.

Problem #1
      Trash
        Due to the number of stores, fast food restaurants, and convenient stores,
        There is a high level of trash on  the ground around the Harshman neighborhood.

Problem #2
    Aesthetics
        There is a small stream (Pogue’s Run) that runs through the Harshman community.
        Pogue’s Run is part of the White River Watershed and very polluted.  The pollution
        of Pogue’s Run affects not only the Harshman area but also the White River watershed.

Problem #3
    Parks
        The parks in the Cottage Home and Lockerbie neighborhood are overgrown, unkempt,
        and are an eye sore to the  area.
