A Problem Based 6th Grade Social Studies Unit

     This web page is designed to be implemented in a sixth grade social studies classroom at Tuttle Middle School in Crawfordsville, Indiana.  The unit is designed to teach students how Crawfordsville, Indiana has changed since it was first founded.  Many Indiana standards are covered in this project.  These standards relate to America's history, specifically that of Crawfordsville, Indiana.  We hope that students will come away from this project with an understanding that their hometown has transformed in many ways throughout its history.
