Process 

 

  1. Draw planter beds with existing plants.
  2. Draw planter beds incorporating seedlings or cuttings (remember to gauge the size).
  3. Find sights for seeds and cuttings.  You may use these resources or identify others: garden.org/calendar; kidsgarden.com; store.yahoo.com/nationalgardening/; store.yahoo.com/nationalgardening/odclass.html; burpee.com; nationalgardening  Be sure to check gardening with kids, flower gardens, gardening practices, and question and answer sections. (The library and seed or plant companies may have additional information)
  4. Choose seeds/cuttings according to cost, needs, size, and color.
  5. Develop plan for what is needed for planting seeds or cuttings.
  6. Decide what is needed to nurture seedlings or cuttings.
