ProcessYou are about to visit Elizabethan England. I hope you packed light, because you will be visiting at least six cities or towns. Bon voyage! Step #1 Print out a copy of the assignment pages: Step # 2 Read the Assignment Pages (a given). Then, consult the following sites to help you write your travel journal.
Step # 3 Identify each place on the map and write a journal entry about each location. Use your imagination. Put yourself in the character of someone who lived during Shakespeare's time. Write enough information so that the reader can tell what living during the Elizabethan era was like. Talk about what you see, hear, taste, smell. Note the unique differences between each of the towns or cities. http://www.aboutbritain.com/towns/Cambridge.asp http://library.thinkquest.org/3588/Renaissance/Town/Children.html?tqskip1=1&tqtime=0322 http://www.springfield.k12.il.us/schools/springfield/eliz/elizabethanengland.html http://www.cityofyork.com/tourinfo/history.htm http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/mod/1577harrison-england.html http://web.uvic.ca/shakespeare/
