Tips:

  • Make sure technology is readily available for teachers participating in the Quest.

  • Do a practice on-line discussion prior to starting the WebQuest so teachers become familiar and more comfortable with the chat forum.

  • Set up guidelines for the on-line discussion prior to starting the WebQuest.

  • Plan a time that teachers can get together to de-brief the process verbally once the discussion is completed.

  • Create time for teachers to visit each other's classrooms to see the new technique being used.

  • Do your own research and be ready to try new strategies and share the results!
