Students completing this web quest are evaluated individually in two distinct areas:  PROCESS and PRODUCT.  The possibility of a group grade exists; however, it is optional and at the discretion of the individual teacher.

 

Required Elements Rubric:  THE PROCESS

In this section, students will receive 0-2 points for each category, making a total of 20 points possible Note:  This section just checks to see if everything has been accomplished and briefly judges effort.  This also evaluated time management and group skills, but it does not assess the quality of writing.

Writing Rubric:  THE PRODUCT

In this next section, an individual's writing skills are evaluated.  Students are assessed on the 6-point rubric in 6 distinct areas.  Perfect scores in each area would garner a total of 36 points.  The break down value of these points can be seen by accessing the rubric hyperlink on the teacher page.

Add "process" points together with "product" points.  This score has a maximum points value of 56 points.  Individual students will be graded on a percentage-based score.
