This WebQuest was designed to be used in a Social Skills class for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades who have Learning Disabilities and/or Emotional Handicaps.  This WebQuest is a great introduction of the Character Counts Program.  However, if your school is already a Character Counts school this activity can be used to reinforce the program.

Modifications: If your learners need different modifications and/or accommodations please feel free to adapt this WebQuest to meet your individual students needs.

Modification Ideas:

• Change group sizes

• Have peer tutors and/or teaching assistance work with each group

• Read the text aloud to the students

• Change the power point component to a poster

• Assign specific goals for each work day

• Add more Character Counts links or have students look at only one link
