Students will be assessed according the following rubric.

ADHERENCE TO WORKOUT CLASSIFICATIONS following specific instructions regarding the inclusion of volume, speed and plyometric workouts

(20 points)

Little or no reference to the three workout types.  No evidence of knowledge of the particulars of the workout types (0-12 points)

Significant discussion of the workouts, showing a clear understanding of what they are and how they are used (13-16 points)

A clear knowledge of both the differences in the workouts and the advantages to using different workouts for different purposes 

(17-20 points)

USE OF SOURCES – appropriate use of the sources provided (online and text)

(10 points)

Little or no use of sources to support the workouts as designed.

(0-5 points)

Use of the sources is present with some value to support the designed workouts. The use of the sources is basic

 (6-7 points)

An excellence grasp of the sources, used to strongly support the workouts.  Sources are varied and used appropriately 

(8-10 points)

PRESENTATION – presentation of the workouts done in an informative, innovative manner

(5 points)

Little effort is shown and preparation and is lacking in thought

(0-1 points)

Effort in preparation and thought is evident

Significant effort, thought and preparation is evident throughout the presentation
